The Singapore Berkeley community welcomed over 200 guests – science students and teachers and other interested guests -- to a public lecture featuring Dr. George Smoot III in which he described his discoveries on the origin of the universe which lead to his winning the Nobel Prize in 2006.

The event was held at the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore.
The discussion was followed by a seated banquet for over 70 alumni and friends, all at the lovely Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore.
