Join Vice Chancellor for Research Katherine Yelick for a stimulating fireside chat on AI Disrupting the Research and Innovation Ecosystem hosted by the Berkeley Club of Singapore.
AI is having an impact on nearly every field of research, from biotech and energy tech to law and economics. This is also impacting the innovation ecosystem as startups are using — and sometimes expected to use — AI. This offers exciting opportunities to accelerate the pace of discovery and also requires new research to understand when AI works and how to adapt it to various domains. Vice Chancellor Yelick will give examples of the transformative impacts of AI from fundamental research to translation, and of how the startup ecosystem is also supporting AI.
Light refreshments will be served.
