Join us for Betty Amstutz Gerson M.A. '67 Book Launch hosted by Zvi Segal, member of our alumni club's Executive Committee, at his jewelry gallery Almog in Zürich! After working on it for five years, Betty has finally finished her book, From Montgomery to the Matterhorn, and will present it to us on November 12. The book is part memoir, part introduction to life in Switzerland and provides a special perspective on an American childhood and an adulthood spent adjusting to a new life in Europe. As Berkeley alums living in Switzerland, many of the themes treated in the book should be of interest to us. Betty will read extracts from the book and then answer questions from club members.

The launch event will be followed by an "à la carte" dinner at Lily’s Factory, a restaurant where high-quality Asian ingredients meet creative cuisine.
