Cycling Outing

Join Berkeley TCM (TaoChuMiao 桃竹苗) for a family-oriented cycling outing to Hsinchu’s famed 17-km coastline bike trails (新竹市南寮十七公里海岸線). Route maps including approximate distances/times will be provided so that participants can go at their own pace and come back to the meeting point for lunch. At 12:30pm, we will head to the Nanliao Port Seafood Outlet Center to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch. If you would like to join the event but would rather not bike, the Nanliao area is also very famous for its winds and kite-flying!
Note that rental costs are NT$150 for singles bike (optional child seat), NT$300 for tandem, and NT$350/500 for family 4-seater “bikes”.
