The Berkeley Club of Japan, in association with the UCLA Japan Alumni Association (UCLAJAA), is hosting an open lecture by Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa, former chairman of the National Diet of Japan Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission (NAIIC), titled ”Fukushima after 5 years. (Regulatory Capture: Will Japan Change?)”.
This lecture is open to anyone who is interested in the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, the institutional cause behind it, and the impact on our society. Click here for more information about Dr. Kurokawa’s research. Note that the lecture will be given in Japanese.
