UC Berkeley International Alumni Network

Join us for a unique opportunity to experience Dole’s banana and pineapple plantations in Pingtung County! We will meet at HSR Zuoying Station (in front of Starbucks Coffee) at 11:00am for a scenic bus ride to Nanzhou Township for a delicious hot baked chicken lunch. Afterwards, we will visit Dole’s banana farm to taste fresh yellow bananas before departing for Gaoshu Township to experience Dole’s Green Land Facility where pineapples are grown. The tour bus will meet us at 4:00pm to bring us back to Kaohsiung. All Berkeley alumni and family are welcome to join this outing. Space is limited and is on a first-come, first served basis.

Upon returning from Pingtung, the chartered tour bus will bring all participants to the official designated hotel for check-in. For those interested in dining with fellow alumni, we will meet at 6:00pm for dinner. For those interested in the Intercollegiate KHH Mixer (7:00 to 9:00pm - more information coming soon), we will head to the event together after dinner. HSR transportation cost, lodging in Kaohsiung, dinner, and participation fee for the Intercollegiate KHH Mixer are not included in this event’s registration fee of NT$1,000.

*Special note for all participants from Taipei: It is recommended that all participants departing from Taipei on May 21st take the High Speed Train 1119 departing from Taipei Main Station at 09:06, arriving in Kaohsiung at 10:42.
