While climate change is capturing our attention on how weather events are impacting us, there is now growing attention on how natural resources are also affected. These resources, known as Natural Capital, refer to the renewable and non-renewable resources that provide benefits to humans. Understanding natural capital and its related ecosystem services is challenging the current knowledge base but also opening the door to new insights and innovations. Join us for an engaging discussion with innovators, Daniel Mouen Makoua M.Eng. ’86, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Zulu Ecosystems, and Conrad Young, Founder of Chirrup.ai, who are at the forefront of this effort, tapping emerging academic research, novel techniques, and digital technology to measure and assess the value of the natural capital around us.

Your ticket includes a sustainable beer from Toast Ale Brewery and light bites.
