Plant a tree in Forest for All, an environmental reforestation project founded by Architects Lily Zhang ’10 and Wataru Shinji ’09. Lily and Wataru will lead this special environmental activity at Tao Fong Shan in partnership with the Berkeley Club of Hong Kong.
This family friendly event will include a brief guided tour of Tao Fong Shan — listed as a Grade II heritage site preserved by the Hong Kong Antiquities and Monuments Office, a sustainable workshop for all ages to learn about different species that inhabit the mountain, how trees take root and become part of the environment, and the importance of nurturing a healthy ecosystem, as well as tree planting on Tao Fong Shan’s mountaintop.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a community, reconnect with nature, and make a positive contribution to the environment.
