The London Transport Museum is opening its doors to Berkeley alumni and their families. Join us for a welcome talk by a representative of the Museum who will provide an introduction to the Museum, and then feel free to explore the Museum.

The Museum’s new Family Galleries opened at the end of March. The Museum’s new play zone include a new interactive fleet of vehicles including a Double Deck Routemaster bus, the Thames Nipper Boat, an Emirates AirLine cable car, a Tube train and a baby DLR train featuring a tactile wall, shapes and building blocks. During their visit children will be able to "drive" the transport vehicles of their choice, dress up in uniforms and become a driver, mechanic, sailor, cleaner or station announcer. They can also play at the Lost Property office, serve passengers in the Thames Nipper café and get behind the driver’s seat of a real bus. And there is plenty of fun for adults too!
